Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,404.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean Dupas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'L'Enlèvement D'Europe', 1928, Paire De Tableaux Dans Leurs Cadres D'Origine Dessinés Par L'Artiste in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 217,500.00.
