Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Promenade au Bois de Boulogne by Jean Dufy was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 48,180.00 (€ 54,909.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Dufy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Salle Gaveau, le grand orchestre, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Promenade au Bois de Boulogne von Jean Dufy wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 48.180,00 (€ 54.909,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Dufy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Salle Gaveau, le grand orchestre beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 250.000,00 (€ 210.119,35) versteigert wurde.
