In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work A moonlit landscape sold for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,688.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Delville achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orphée Aux Enfers in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 145,752.98).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Delville erzielte im Januar 2009 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit A moonlit landscape für GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.688,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Delville erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orphée Aux Enfers im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 145.752,98).
