Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work In A Sentimental Mood by Jean-Claude Fahri for EUR 956.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Claude Fahri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Table Basse, Cave À Cigare - 1972 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 17,851.00.
