Die Arbeit Scène d'un port von Jean Carzou kam im Januar 2009 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.658,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Carzou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Homme Costumé; Femme Costumée im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.400,00.
