In April 2014 Artcurial held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Navires Dans Un Port - 1962 by Jean Carzou. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,550.00 52% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean Carzou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Homme Costumé; Femme Costumée in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 20,400.00.

Im April 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Navires Dans Un Port - 1962 von Jean Carzou zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.550,00 und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Carzou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Homme Costumé; Femme Costumée im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.400,00.
