The price achieved of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,781.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste van Moer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Doge'S Palace And The Piazza San Marco, Venice in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 106,250.00.
