The work Portrait Of Princess Amelia (1711-1786), Daughter Of George Ii by Jean-Baptiste van Loo was sold in the Early British & Irish Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in December 2008. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 21,005.82), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Baptiste van Loo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Louis Xv, King Of France (1710-1774), Full-Length in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 181,250.00 (€ 205,664.42).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of Princess Amelia (1711-1786), Daughter Of George Ii von Jean-Baptiste van Loo wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Early British & Irish Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
