Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Heureuse Rencontre by Jean-Baptiste-Marie Pierre was auctioned at Artcurial in April 2013. The price achieved of EUR 63,754.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Baptiste-Marie Pierre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage Avec Personnages Jouant De La Musique Et Dansant in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 363,000.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 63.754,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden.
