Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Decorative Design by Jean-Baptiste-Marie Pierre was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste-Marie Pierre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage Avec Personnages Jouant De La Musique Et Dansant in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 363,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Decorative Design von Jean-Baptiste-Marie Pierre kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste-Marie Pierre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage Avec Personnages Jouant De La Musique Et Dansant im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 363.000,00.
