Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Paintings, Sculptures, which included the work Le Cabinet D'Alchimiste by Jean-Baptiste Mallet. The price achieved of EUR 8,926.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Baptiste Mallet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Innocence Et La Fidélité Ramenant L'Amour, which sold at auction in November 2017 for EUR 31,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings, Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Cabinet D'Alchimiste von Jean-Baptiste Mallet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.926,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Mallet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Innocence Et La Fidélité Ramenant L'Amour beobachtet, die im November 2017 für EUR 31.200,00 versteigert wurde.
