Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spring; Summer by Jean-Baptiste Mallet was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,670.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Baptiste Mallet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Innocence Et La Fidélité Ramenant L'Amour in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 31,200.00.

Die Arbeit Spring; Summer von Jean-Baptiste Mallet kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.670,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Mallet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Innocence Et La Fidélité Ramenant L'Amour im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.200,00.
