The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,690.00 69% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Le Prince achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Woman On A Divan in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 625,000.00 (€ 523,100.10).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.690,00 und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Le Prince erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Woman On A Divan im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 625.000,00 (€ 523.100,10).
