Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & XIXth Century Art, which included the work Baigneuses Dans Un Paysage by Jean-Baptiste Le Prince. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,850.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Le Prince achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Woman On A Divan in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 625,000.00 (€ 523,100.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & XIXth Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baigneuses Dans Un Paysage von Jean-Baptiste Le Prince zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.850,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Le Prince erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Woman On A Divan im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 625.000,00 (€ 523.100,10).
