The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,080.00 (€ 8,306.55), 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Huet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Une Caravanne in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 590,500.00 (€ 452,386.42).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 8.306,55) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Huet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Une Caravanne im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 590.500,00 (€ 452.386,42).
