A top price for Alexandre Falguière - as previously expected
The work Diana by Alexandre Falguière was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,420.00 (€ 25,119.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Diana is the most expensive artwork by Alexandre Falguière that we have observed at auctions so far.
