It achieved a price of AUD 17,925.00 (€ 10,473.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Falguière - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diana, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 21,420.00 (€ 25,119.39).
