A top price for Jarinyanu David Downs - as previously expected
The work Dance of Kurtal by Jarinyanu David Downs was sold in the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in May 2003. The price achieved of AUD 23,500.00 (€ 13,008.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dance of Kurtal is the most expensive artwork by Jarinyanu David Downs that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Dance of Kurtal von Jarinyanu David Downs wurde im Mai 2003 in der Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS bei Christies in Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 23.500,00 (€ 13.008,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
