Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Christies held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part I, which included the work Senza titolo by Jannis Kounellis. The price achieved of EUR 163,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jannis Kounellis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre in October 2016 with an auction result of EUR 1,562,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Christies die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Jannis Kounellis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 163.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jannis Kounellis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.562.500,00.
