The work Blessed By The Cats Series #2 by Jang Koal was worth HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,721.53) to a buyer in April 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Online at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 24,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jang Koal; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Girl #1 sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of HKD 176,400.00 (€ 20,306.75).
