Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Janet Laurence was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in April 2006. The price achieved of AUD 5,377.50 (€ 3,234.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 4,500.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Janet Laurence have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2005 the work Periodic Table Series was auctioned for AUD 7,170.00 (€ 4,407.44).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 5.377,50 (€ 3.234,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 4.500,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Janet Laurence konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2005 die Arbeit Periodic Table Series für AUD 7.170,00 (€ 4.407,44) versteigert.
