This artwork by Jane Corsellis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2004. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Cafe le Jardin du Palais Royal sold for GBP 836.50 (€ 1,183.88) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 350.00. Admittedly, works by Jane Corsellis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St Paul's from Gabriel's Wharf in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 3,824.00 (€ 5,988.44).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jane Corsellis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St Paul's from Gabriel's Wharf im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.824,00 (€ 5.988,44).
