A top price for Jane Carpanini - as previously expected
In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art & Dreaming Spires; Watercolours of Oxford and Cambridge Colleges, which included the work St. Peter's College, Emily Morris Building by Jane Carpanini. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,424.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, St. Peter's College, Emily Morris Building is the most expensive artwork by Jane Carpanini that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art & Dreaming Spires; Watercolours of Oxford and Cambridge Colleges durch, in der auch die Arbeit St. Peter's College, Emily Morris Building von Jane Carpanini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.424,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist St. Peter's College, Emily Morris Building das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jane Carpanini, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
