Despite a disappointment, a good price for Janardan Bhatt
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work OP 43 by Janardan Bhatt for GBP 637.50 (€ 749.96). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, OP 43 is the most expensive artwork by Janardan Bhatt that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Janardan Bhatt
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit OP 43 von Janardan Bhatt für GBP 637,50 (€ 749,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist OP 43 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Janardan Bhatt, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
