Admittedly, works by Jananne Al-Ani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled I & Ii in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 109,337.59).

Die Arbeit Aerial I (from the Aesthetics of a Disappearance: Land without People series) von Jananne Al-Ani kam im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.340,00) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jananne Al-Ani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled I & Ii im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 109.337,59).
