This artwork by Jan Voerman Jr. achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Precious flowers sold for EUR 3,107.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Voerman Jr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter te Laren: a village in winter, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 9,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Voerman Jr. erzielte im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit Precious flowers für EUR 3.107,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Voerman Jr. mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter te Laren: a village in winter beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 9.000,00 versteigert wurde.
