Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Roses by Jan Voerman Jr. was sold in the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. The price achieved of EUR 3,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Voerman Jr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter te Laren: a village in winter, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 9,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Roses von Jan Voerman Jr. wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Voerman Jr. mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter te Laren: a village in winter beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 9.000,00 versteigert wurde.
