The result of EUR 2,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Voerman Jr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter te Laren: a village in winter, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 9,000.00.

Die Arbeit A still life with rhodondendrons von Jan Voerman Jr. kam im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Voerman Jr. mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter te Laren: a village in winter beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 9.000,00 versteigert wurde.
