Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stukje Oud-Elburg: at the courtyard by Jan van Tongeren was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. The price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van Tongeren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stilleven Met Groene Kool in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 19,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stukje Oud-Elburg: at the courtyard von Jan van Tongeren kam im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan van Tongeren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stilleven Met Groene Kool im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.200,00.
