However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Adriaensz. van Staveren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Die guten Samariter., which sold at auction in March 2007 for CHF 66,000.00 (€ 40,693.58).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.810,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%.
