Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction European Noble and Private Collections, which included the work Portrait of a girl, full-length, in a pink dress, seated by a sheep by Jan van der Vaart. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van der Vaart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Violin in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 63,650.00 (€ 73,047.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion European Noble and Private Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a girl, full-length, in a pink dress, seated by a sheep von Jan van der Vaart zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan van der Vaart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Violin im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 63.650,00 (€ 73.047,90).
