The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,895.63), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van den Hecke the Elder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in a glass roemer on a ledge in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 175,000.00 (€ 192,138.36).
