Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work M.S. Oranje In Aanbouw - A Ship Wharf by Jan Sluijters Jun.. The price achieved of EUR 1,680.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Sluijters Jun. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Place Saint André des Arts, Paris in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit M.S. Oranje In Aanbouw - A Ship Wharf von Jan Sluijters Jun. zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.680,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Sluijters Jun. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Place Saint André des Arts, Paris im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.500,00.
