In January 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art, which included the work A Coach Pulled By Six Horses Crossing A Flooded Road by Jan Siberechts. The »bidding war« ended at USD 132,000.00 (€ 101,554.09), 65% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Siberechts - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pastoral Landscape With A Shepherdess On A Donkey Carrying A Basket Of Flowers, And Fording A Stream With A Village In The Distance And With A Church, Almost Certainly Edensor, Near Chatsworth, Derbyshire, which sold at auction in February 2018 for USD 250,000.00 (€ 204,733.44).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 132.000,00 (€ 101.554,09) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
