A top price for Jan Senbergs - as previously expected
The work Cathedral, 1963 by Jan Senbergs was auctioned at Bonhams in Sidney in August last year. The price achieved of AUD 9,840.00 (€ 6,712.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cathedral, 1963 is the most expensive artwork by Jan Senbergs that we have observed at auctions so far.
