A top price for Jan Šafařík - as previously expected
The work At The Racetrack, Paris by Jan Šafařík was sold in the 19th Century and British Impressionist Art auction at Bonhams in London in September 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,418.75 (€ 6,304.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, At The Racetrack, Paris is the most expensive artwork by Jan Šafařík that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit At The Racetrack, Paris von Jan Šafařík wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.418,75 (€ 6.304,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
