Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work Winter scenery from Warsaw by Jan Rawicz. It changed hands for a price of DKK 3,800.00 (€ 509.16) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Rawicz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Winter scenery from Warsaw in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 4,200.00 (€ 3,670.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter scenery from Warsaw von Jan Rawicz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von DKK 3.800,00 (€ 509,16) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Rawicz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Winter scenery from Warsaw im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 4.200,00 (€ 3.670,69).
