Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Gregoire Francois Du Rietz (1607-1682) and his wife Helena Radou (1615-1675) by Jan Maurits Quinkhard for SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,812.24). This price was achieved in the auction Important Winter Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Maurits Quinkhard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Boy, Half-Length, In A Blue Coat And Waistcoat, His Hat Under His Left Arm, which sold at auction in July 2001 for GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,610.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Gregoire Francois Du Rietz (1607-1682) and his wife Helena Radou (1615-1675) von Jan Maurits Quinkhard für SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.812,24) erwerben.
