Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Christies held the auction Made In Holland, which included the work An avenue between two canals outside a village, with a horseman and a dog, a youth in a skiff and a man by the gatehouse nearby by Jan Gabrielsz. Sonje. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 21,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jan Gabrielsz. Sonje have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2000 the work An extensive mountain landscape, with a hawking party on a road by a bridge was auctioned for GBP 16,450.00 (€ 28,161.73).

Im Oktober 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Made In Holland durch, in der auch die Arbeit An avenue between two canals outside a village, with a horseman and a dog, a youth in a skiff and a man by the gatehouse nearby von Jan Gabrielsz. Sonje zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 21.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Gabrielsz.
