Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Masters Online, which included the work The Wide And Narrow Road, An Allegory by Jan Christiaensz. Micker. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,802.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Christiaensz. Micker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tower Of Babel in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 82,850.00 (€ 99,224.58).
Micker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Tower Of Babel im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 82.850,00 (€ 99.224,58).
