Micker was sold in the Old Master Pictures auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2006. The auction ended at the price of EUR 6,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Christiaensz. Micker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tower Of Babel in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 82,850.00 (€ 99,224.58).
