In April 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A winter landscape with activities on the ice near Castle Buren, in Gelderland by Jan Abrahamsz. Beerstraaten. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 73,000.00 22% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jan Abrahamsz. Beerstraaten have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Ships At Anchor In A Calm Harbor, With Dignitaries In A Barge Approaching The Royal Yacht Of Prince William Ii, And A Ferry Transporting A Cannon In The Foreground in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 560,000.00 (€ 504,822.86).

Im April 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A winter landscape with activities on the ice near Castle Buren, in Gelderland von Jan Abrahamsz. Beerstraaten zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 73.000,00 und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Abrahamsz. Beerstraaten auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Ships At Anchor In A Calm Harbor, With Dignitaries In A Barge Approaching The Royal Yacht Of Prince William Ii, And A Ferry Transporting A Cannon In The Foreground im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 560.000,00 (€ 504.822,86).
