Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jamil Hamoudi could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work Attributes of Divinity changed hands for GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,356.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jamil Hamoudi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,741.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jamil Hamoudi konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Attributes of Divinity für GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.356,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jamil Hamoudi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.741,68).
