It achieved a price of GBP 940.00 (€ 1,350.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Noble - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring flowers in a glass vase, which sold at auction in May 2003 for GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,274.14).
