In December 2014 Christies in New York held the auction Creatures, Great and Small, which included the work Still Life With Game, Cabbage, Beetroot And Apples, by James Hardy Jr.. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,609.16). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Hardy Jr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Midday Rest, which sold at auction in December 2014 for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,114.83).

Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Creatures, Great and Small durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Game, Cabbage, Beetroot And Apples, von James Hardy Jr. zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.609,16) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von James Hardy Jr. mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Midday Rest beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.114,83) versteigert wurde.
