In the Sporting & Wildlife Art, Including An Important Private Collection of works by Wilhelm Kuhnert and David Shepherd auction, the work After the shoot; and The missing partridge sold for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,287.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Hardy, Jnr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The midday meal on the moors in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 86,250.00 (€ 138,399.44).
