Admittedly, works by James Guitet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 40F.1.60 - 1960 in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 9,750.00.

Die Arbeit Composition, 1957 von James Guitet wurde im März 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.020,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Guitet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 40F.1.60 - 1960 im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.750,00.
