In the Gleneagles Pictures auction, the work Queen Mary'S Last Look At Scotland sold for GBP 114,000.00 (€ 169,525.21) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by James Drummond; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot British the Return Of Mary Queen Of Scots To Edinburgh sold at auction in January 2018 with the realized price of USD 275,000.00 (€ 221,274.54).
