Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work A child playing in the woods by James Crawford Thom for USD 375.00 (€ 295.18). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Crawford Thom achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Returning from the wood in winter in March 2003 with an auction result of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 5,957.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Returning from the wood in winter im März 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.112,50 (€ 5.957,47).
