It achieved a price of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,566.53), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Other works by James Burrell Smith have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,715.77) in May 2005 for the work Anglers by a rapid; and A waterfall in a mountainous landscape.
